Lulu Wang is an independent filmmaker born in Beijing, raised in Miami, and currently working in Los Angeles. A 2005 graduate of Boston College, Lulu studied creative writing and music, as well as film theory. She discovered film production during her senior year and produced several short films at the university, including "Storyteller," "Matinee" and "Pisces". All three films have received a handful of nominations and awards at Boston College's Annual Baldwin Awards.

In 2005, Lulu was commissioned to direct "Fishing the Gulf" (Chiriqui, Panama) which has screened at festivals worldwide and won best documentary for Landmark Theatre's Little Big Films Competition. In 2006, she was commissioned by EDWON to film a documentary on Dalit women in Nepal (the project is actively seeking funds for post-production)

Lulu is currently working on a feature-length narrative script for independent production. Her primary goal is to write fully-developed, character-driven, comedic dramas that can be produced low-budget.
